Drury

We live on a 12 acre lifestyle farm at Ararimu, just south of Drury, Auckland. Our home is single storey, modern, architect designed with pool and spa and wonderful views of the surrounding countryside with distant glimpses of the Manukau Harbour. We have two adorable pet Wheaten Terrier dogs and an assortment of livestock - three Dexter cows, fifteen Wiltshire horned sheep and at the last count fourteen alpacas. During our trip overseas specific duties will include feeding and twice daily walks along the road for the dogs, keeping house plants watered and occasional mowing with the ride-on [normally a 40 minute job. Possibly some feeding out of livestock, hay and dry pellets from a bucket, depending on weather and availability of grass in the paddocks. Our farmer neighbour is on hand and will keep an eye on the livestock, advising and assisting if necessary.
