Hello!

We have a lovely little house in Riverhead, close to three amazing pubs with great food!

You'll be looking after two dogs, one called Bessy , medium sized, Jack Russell x greyhound x staffy x god knows what! And another called Luna who is a 4 years old and is a staffy x collie who has lots of energy. Both very friendly and loyal, love a walk and to sit with you by the fire in the evening and snooze. We also have two cats, Hobbes and Motor, who hurtle round the house together, sleep or eat.

If you're into mountain biking Riverhead Forrest is close by and we have two bikes and helmets you can borrow. If beach walks are more your thing then we are close to both the North Shore beaches such as Long Bay and the more rugged West Coast beaches.

We are just looking to find someone to look after our much loved pets and put the rubbish out :)

We stayed at Paul and Nerys place in January. The dogs Luna and Bess, and cats Motor and Hobbs were friendly from day one and loved heading to the park and playing with our four year old boy. The house is very sunny and the pool and spa made it extra special. Paul and Neryl left us detailed notes and were always available for questions. Riverhead and the surrounding area of forests, pubs and orchards is a great place to relax and write. Thanks Paul and Nerys!

We had the pleasure of house sitting for Nerys and Paul over Easter. All the animals were great, including the two dogs Bess and Luna, who were well behaved and very appreciative of their walks. Good communication, house was comfortable and well set up for our stay. Would house and pet sit again for them.

Nerys has a beautiful home in Riverhead and we loved taking care of her pets. Luna and Bess are friendly, easy going dogs and Hobbes and Motor are adorable cats! Nerys was super helpful and answered all the questions we had during our stay, and gave us loads of local recommendations. We would definitely house sit again.

This was truly one of the best housesits we've ever done. 😊 The house itself is sooo cosy and very comfortable, and all the pets stole our hearts by day 1. Luna and Bessy, the 2 dogs, are so much fun to go for walks with. Luna is very energetic and loves to play a lot, while Bessy is enjoying the chill life. Also the cats are easy to take care for. Thoroughly enjoyed housesitting for Nerys and Paul.Their home was lovely and comfortable and Nerys left clear written guidelines on the running of the house and the care of their pets.These were awesome and an excellent idea. Bessie and Luna (the dogs)were lovely and very well behaved and the cats we really only saw at mealtimes.Communication with Nerys was brilliant. Would happily house sit again given the opportunity.

We loved housesitting for Nerys and her family! We were left with clear instructions and the communication throughout, including expectation setting, was very good. Whenever we had a question, Nerys responded promptly. Both Nessie and Luna are good, clever dogs that listen well and have been well-trained. Nerys and Paul have a beautiful easy maintenance home and garden in a delightful town. Luna and Betsy are lovely dogs, the cats Motor and Hobbs are easy going companionable cats. Let's not forget the fishes: Stormy, Cloudy and Rainy! I had a wonderful two weeks in this rural paradise and I fully endorse this family as five star house owners.

This is a lovely, comfortable house in an interesting area. (Nice vineyards!). Bess (dog) was very well behaved and very loveable. Two contented cats were fun to watch play and also friendly.

We thoroughly enjoyed looking after Nerys' and Paul's property, their character cats running through the house at feeding time and playing with each other and their lovely, well behaved dog Bessy. The house is in a great location away from the busy city life with great walkways and restaurants. Nerys and Paul were very friendly, welcoming, appreciative hosts and good communicators. So, great location, great house, great people, great animals - All was great and easy.

No rating We had a wonderful time looking after Bessie, Hobbes and Mike. Bessie enjoyed long walks on Muriwai and Bethells and she is a joy to watch chasing the ball. She is so loyal and obedient that is easy to take her places. We also enjoyed watching the cats play fight around the house and they never let us forget when it was meal time. The house was marvelous and so well placed for visiting vineyards, pubs and beautiful beaches. Thank you so much.

No rating We had a great time in Riverhead at your lovely home. It was a great introduction for us for both housesitting in New Zealand and New Zealand itself. We loved walking Bessy on the Northshore beaches, West Coast beaches and also in the nearby Forest. The animals were easy to look after and we miss them, even if the sit was only four days long!
