Hey there :)

My husband, Allister, and I will be traveling to the US over the holidays to spend time with family and are in need of a trustworthy and caring pet/house sitter. We live in a flat in Edgeware/St Albans that's nice and central to everything in the city.

Our mini schnauzer cross, Piper, is needing a loving companion to take care of her while we are away. Piper can be very talkative (and loud) at first but quickly warms up to new people and is very affectionate. While we are away she is needing someone to take her out to the bathroom (at least three times during the day- we do have two small outside areas that she will sometimes go in but it's hit or miss, if the weather is bad she will refuse and stand at the door), feed her treats and dinner, and take her out daily on a long walk or to the dog park. In between these activities, she can usually keep herself entertained and is very chilled out. If we agree on you house sitting for us, we prefer if you could take Piper on a couple walks beforehand so you become comfortable and familiar with one another. If you need to leave her alone for a few hours, she will be okay, although we prefer if you can spend most of your time housesitting with her :)

We have a guest bedroom with an ensuite that you will be staying in, a washer and dryer, wifi, full kitchen, a big tv with lots of streaming services, and if arranged we are happy to let you use our car to take Piper on outings :)
