Lower Hutt

I am looking for a nice, respectful and quiet person/couple to cat sit my wonderful cats, Missy & George.

George is seven years old, black and white domesticated long haired cat. I rescued him when he was just 6 weeks old so he can get quite nervous and sketchy around people and loud bangs, but he has a very loving and pleasant nature - quite cheeky too.

It takes a while to get he's trust but once you earn it, he's the most affectionate cat in the world. Loves snuggles, not hissy or scratchy and just basically wants pats. Pretends like he's never been fed, don't fall for he's trickery.

Missy aka Boss Lady is five years old, she's more reserved than George and more of a home bird. Missy rules the roost, unbeknownst to George. She likes her own space, doesn't like to be picked up but loves morning and evening pats, and a full biscuit bowl. Will let you know when she requires attention.

I am located in a Lower Hutt, just minutes from Queensgate Shopping centre and Epuni and Waterloo train line, very convenient. Train station is 11 minute walk, bus two minutes. Home is yards from stream and the ducks and pūkekos come and say hello and sit in the garden. Plenty of wildlife including native birds such as Kaka and tūīs.

Front and back gardens will need a mow once a week, some weeding, watering plants, inside and out. Light gardening work.
Looking after two cats does take a bit of work, so you really do need to be a cat person, and into gardening. Absolutely No partying. Very quiet street in a cud de sac location and all the neighbours look out for each other.

I have a two bed house, one room is free, and the house will be empty, very cosy and homely with lots of plants, and a log fire. Bathroom has a bath too.

Great for someone looking for peace and quiet, and looking to explore the local bush trails (there's plenty) and relax in nature.
