Sharyn and Neville
Neville and I have a 32 acre lifestyle block situated 21km's north west of Blenheim. In our area are vineyards and Lifestyle blocks.
We are a 10 minute drive from the township of Renwick; 40 minutes from Picton and close to a number of Marlborough's popular wineries.
On our property we have 2 goats but our intention is to purchase 5 calves either prior to Christmas or when we return from our holiday.
During your stay you will be required to check the animals and their water, daily. Also, as required, move the calves between paddocks.
We have a vegetable garden and a small number of pot plants that will need watering. Also, we would appreciate it if you would mow the grass occasionally.
We would like a mature couple who have had previous experience with calves.
Marlborough has lots to offer the visitor with its wineries, sea, rivers, shops, cafes, theatre, swimming complex, bush walks, cycling tracks and scenic drives. Enjoy Marlborough's sights or stay at home and relax.
Very peaceful stay Rural surroundings..Cozy and warm. Endless firewood.. Sharon and Neville, very approachable.. We watch the blossoms go from bud, to flower in our two weeks there..
We had the pleasure of looking after a lovely quiet farmlet, with 4 cows and 3 goats that did not require a-lot of work. Just a nice stroll everyday to where they were, do the head count, watch them for awhile and then head back to the house to water the veges. The house was lovely and warm with all amenities available. We even had a Tui come and visit us to get the nector from the harakeke plant outside the kitchen.

It was a pleasure to meet Sharyn & Neville. Red, Sophie and the goats, chickens and the calves were easy to care for. They were looking forward to getting their treats every day. The calves and goats were fun and loved to get a cuddle. Nice and peaceful area. Thanks for having me. Highly recommended.

Sharyn and Neville were friendly and made sure I had all I needed for my stay and how to care for the animals, being sheep, cattle and hens.
We had a skype chat as they were leaving before I arrived and that was not a problem, as I had a detailed list of instructions on my arrival, all very easy to follow.
The house was comfortable and warm, and had plenty of parking space for my motorhome in their driveway.

House situated in a stunningly beautiful valley.
People relaxed, positive and friendly, no fuss. Made us feel very welcome.
Animals and paddocks fun and easy to care for.
Very friendly and helpful neighbours - a special thanks to Craig who was always available for support and backup if needed.
Enjoyed the 3 weeks house- and pet sitting.
God experience for our young son who enjoyed the friendly animals especially the contact seeking pigs.
Sharyn & Neville were wonderful hosts. They had a lovely spare room ready for when we arrived and even cooked us dinner on two seperate occasions.
Their instructions were thorough and they were easily contactable when necessary, however they were also confident enough to allow us to use our judgement and it was a fantastic learning experience.
We would highly recommend anyone going to visit the farm, it is beautiful and Sharyn and Neville are great!
