Kia ora,

I'm looking for a catsitter to come and stay with my two rescue goofballs (cats) for about a week over Christmas (exact dates are a bit flexible but sometime over the week of Christmas day basically) when I will be in Napier.

My preference for a sitter would be a single female as my cats get a bit weird about changes, although a quiet couple may also be okay. Must be quiet and non-smoking and there would be a bit of garden watering as well (and possibly some edible produce by the time the catsit dates roll around). Would prefer someone fairly local who I can meet in person and introduce to my cats beforehand.

My cats are Maeve (black and white) and Luna (tabby/tortie) and originally came from a feral colony then a cat rescue. They are generally friendly although do not like loud noises like heavy rain, thunderstorms, fireworks and lawnmowers. They have a microchip cat door with outside access unrestricted during the day and are locked in at night (approximately 6pm to 6am).

The cats quite enjoy sleeping on a human-occupied bed so am looking for someone to at minimum spend evenings and overnight time with them (though they are content to have people around during the day as well) especially to ensure they don't get up to too much mischief! 

I have a small ish garden that will require some watering daily and there may well be some pickable produce you're welcome to while I'm away.

Must be a non-smoker and no parties or big drinking sessions etc as my cats are not fans of too much noise. Also as mentioned, a sitter needs to be available and willing to meet me and the cats in person before the sitting dates (particularly because my cats can get very skittish about unfamiliar people).
