Katikati Western Bay of Plenty

Hi, I live in Katikati, a 30 minute drive North from Tauranga, & a 15 minute drive North from here to lovely Waihi Beach.
This is a 4 bedroom house, although I am hoping for a couple to house sit.
There is a covered outdoor area for sitting.
Unfortunately the garage is full of stuff, as my mum passed away recently & I still have lots stored in the garage, waiting to be sorted out.
There is parking outside for 2 vehicles.

I have a cat who I have inherited from mum. She's a lovely little girl, a Bengal, hence very talkative. She is not the picking up & cuddling type, however she loves a lap in the evenings & always spends the night on my bed. She has a cat door. A fussy eater, however I now have the right food organised. If she feels she has been left alone she will wander back to my mum's house, which isn't far away, & I really don't want her doing that. because there is a tenant in there now. So I do need sitters who will stay here every night.
I have an aviary with a dove & a budgie in it, & 2 patio cages with 1 bird in each. They just require seed & water every couple of days.

As far as the garden goes, I have quite a few orchids which I inherited from dad, who also passed away a couple of years ago. They are really special to me as they were dads, & he was a well known orchid grower. In December they will need watering every 1-2 days. A good soak.
There're maybe 18 of them, along with some pot plants I got from mum.
If you felt like mowing the lawn you would be welcome to, but I don't expect it.

I am taking my 3 kids (19,21,24) away for a holiday, which we haven't done together for so long. Because they either working or at uni, it was hard organising dates, & so my local cattery was full by the time I got dates finalised.

I hope there will be someone out there who would love to spend a week here in sunny Katikati.
