Normandale Lower Hutt

Looking for a house sitter to look after our two adored cats Winnie and Billy. Both of our fur babies are pretty self sufficient, but love company and lots of cuddles. Other than being fed (they tend to graze and need lots of water in the warmer months) they don't have any other particular needs.

Our house is situated in Normandale, amongst the bush with beautiful views out over the harbour. While we have great neighbours close by, we are tucked away with lots of bush, garden and lovely birdlife - a very peaceful place to be. You'll want to have a vehicle, though there are bus lines and bus stops about a 15 min walk away (we live on the hill so a bit of a warm walk on a warm day!). Lower Hutt and Petone are only a ten mins drive away or about 20 mins to Wellington city. Belmont Regional Park has lots of great trails if you're into hiking.

Watering of house and conservatory plants would be appreciated. Gardens, lawns etc will depend on you - we are happy to deal with them on our return, whilst you are most welcome to potter if it's something you enjoy. Veggie garden may or may not be productive during your stay ... if so you will be welcome any produce!

Our house has five bedrooms, we will have the spare room made up for you but can make another room available if necessary. BBQ on hand in the conservatory which is lovely during long evenings. Starlink WiFi and TVs have netflix and Disney Plus. We are on tank water, so it is vital that you are able to be mindful of water usage.

We live in such a beautiful spot, especially for those that love quiet and nature. An easy place to unwind and relax. We'd love to hear from you if you are interested.
