We need a house sitter

Our house is located on the outskirts of the Oxford township. We are roughly an hour and fifteen minutes from several ski fields.
We are 30 minutes from Rangiora, 45 minutes from Christchurch, 2 hours from Hanmer Springs and Kaikoura.
We have a 12 year old border collie. We rescued him when he was retired from a Southland sheep station. He loves his retirement. The only thing he has to chase now is a ball. The birds, we do not own, every year we put out sugar water for the waxeyes, bellbirds and tui. We also feed seeds for finches etc.
We have approximately 15 houseplants, and there will be plants outside that may need watering if there is a long dry spell.

We did a 3 month sit for Faith and Steve. Great people - big hearted, generous and thoughtful. It was a pleasure to meet them and do the job for them, made so easy by the extensive preparations they made to make it so. Can't rate them highly enough. We cared for their border collie, the gentlemanly Wyn who is an absolute treasure, and their elderly cat, Bayley. They survived the experience of our care exceptionally well.
