We are located just outside Mangawhai Village.
You will predominantly be caring for our cats - Iorek and Bowie.
Other duties will be the maintenance of the property: harvesting (and eating) vegetables, watering pot plants indoors, watering containers outdoors, running the irrigation system in the vegetable garden and greenhouse, harvesting (and eating) fruit, light weeding (if necessary), maintaining the pool and mowing lawns.
The house is sunny and airy with a large, nice deck and rural outlook. It is quiet as it is down the end of a lane.
It is 5 minutes drive to the village. 12 minutes to the beach.
What a great place! With a nice garden that is developing with fruit trees and a greenhouse and some veggies. We enjoyed taking care of it!
The two young cats were so sweet, they took their time strolling around in the garden and came back regularly to enjoy our company.
All in all a wonderful experience to care for this property and the animals!
House sitting is a fun, immersive way to experience this magnificent country - without paying a cent for accommodation!
