We are looking for an awesome couple to look after our house, property & extended family (animals) whilst we are away for a break for 4 days.
We live on 1 acre about 12 mins away from from central city Rotorua. Lakes Rotorua, Rotoiti, Rotoma, Okataina, Rotoehu etc etc are within 5 to 10 mins drive.
Mountain biking mecca in the Redwoods only a 10 minute drive!
A 3 bedroom house beside a lovely stream & big gardens.
Some watering & garden care required to keep the plants alive.
Animals include a retired racing greyhound, a loveable delinquent greyhound cross rescue & 2 loveable donkeys.
Our place is very relaxing & we love living here. Sorry no dishwasher (we use the kids).
Please bring your own transport & if you like, your caravan as we have plenty of room.
A non negotiable rule is that we will not allow any visitors or guests whilst you are house sitting - sorry but we have been burned before.

My house sitting experience at Kim's place was awesome. The two dogs and the kitty were super cute and friendly, I was sad to leave them all. Kim left great, clear instructions and communication was quick and easy. I would definitely housesit again.
Just loved this magical place and the animals. Kim was easy to deal with, with good communication.
Anyone getting an opportunity to housesit here should find it pleasantly busy but relaxing. Easy spot to get to lots of places from. Especially loved Hannah's Bay close by.
Housesitting for Kim and Chris was a great experience. The property is amazingly unique making it a very nice experience in the Rotorua area, but the animals really make it that much more special, each with a personality of their own.
Coal and Max the dogs are both loving and hilariously entertaining. Ginger the cats gives great cuddles while purring contentedly. Inky and Ponky the donkeys were friendly and easy to care for. And then you get to try and name the many pigeons who have settled ... MORE
Claire and I stayed at Kim's lovely home during xmas 2016. It was absolutely everything we were looking for in a house sit. Peaceful, beautiful full garden with a warm and cozy house.
Their two greyhounds Zippy and Max were well mannered and Max loved to get in and cuddle right in your space... we never wanted to leave.
The donkeys out back had some great personalities and always stole the chicken's feed. It was an amazing experience spending the holidays in such a beautiful property.
