Days Bay

This is a dream sit! It was our second time house and pet sitting for Vicki, and it's just the best. The lads are delightful and affectionate, Vicki is awesome, and the house and surrounding environment is stunning. The gorgeous sleep-out is an amazing space for study/work. Exploring the nearby trails is a must. Daily 'forest bathing' doesn't go astray. If you're lucky enough to get the opportunity to sit here, you definitely won't want to miss out. Housesitting Borris and Smigle was such a wonderful experience. They were lovely cats to look after and the house is in a beautiful location in Day's Bay right next to walking tracks with outstanding harbour views. I feel fortunate and grateful to have experienced this housesit the comms with Vickie were great and she is super lovely and easygoing. We had such a great experience house-sitting for Vicki and getting to spend time with Boris and Sméagol, and would do it again in a heartbeat. The view of Wellington Harbour is stunning, and the surrounding nature is incredible to explore. Vicki was a pleasure to meet and communicate with, and her cats were delightful and affectionate. The ferry is a quick and novel way of getting over to Wellington. Everything about this house-sit was amazing. 10/10.
