We need a house sitter

Hi all
I am looking for a pet and house sitter from 26.12. to 3.1. My place is in Christchurch near Riccarton Racecourse.
Unfortunately, my usual sitter has made other plans (travelling herself on short(ish) notice), so I am in a bit of a rush to get someone to take care of 2 cats and 1 dog (and some vegie plants) over New Years.
The cats Toffee (tortie) and Furgus (black/white) are initially wary with strangers so there is no work other than feeding and trying to make friends with them – they do eventually warm up to new people. Eddie, the dog, is an 8 yrs old Golden Retriever cross who likes cuddles and a walk here and there and naps. Super easy to deal with. You can do as much or as little in the garden as you like.


The house has 3 bedrooms, is at the back section and has off street parking for up to 3 cars. The garden is easy care and a house sitter could do as much or as little as he/she/they like except for watering for a few minutes each day. There are a few indoor plants that need watering too.
There is a bus stop right outside the house, and the Hornby hub of shops is only a few minutes by car away.

The start and end dates are a bit flexible as there is a second furnished bedroom/guestroom.

We count ourselves very lucky to have met Brigitta. She is extremely friendly and generous person. We truly enjoyed our time with her two cats, Toffee and Bob. At first, they were really shy and kept to themselves. However, soon they both started to trust us. On the third day, Toffee started even to ask for attention and to be petted. Toffee and Bob are both very easy cats to take care of, and we had good time with them. We would love to house sit again at Brigitta's.
