Te Awamutu

We are a young couple looking for a dog lover to look after our place and take care of our 2 dogs & 7 chickens while we are away up the Coromandel. We would also need the vegetable gardens/outside pots watered. We have a 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom house. We live at one end of town and have a lovely big back section (for town) with fruit trees, a chicken run & beehives, that backs onto a park where we walk the dogs. One of our dogs (Dot) is a very sweet border collie cross, who loves cuddles. She’s a high energy dog but is very well behaved. Our other dog (Gus) is a huge GSP who is a big dufus full of love. Due to his size, we often refer to him as our "small pony" and get asked if he has Great Dane breed in him. Hence, needing a dog lover specifically to house sit, as the combination of the 2 dogs can be a lot to handle when out walking them! They have lovely, friendly natures :)
