Hi there,
We are on a few acres in Mauku and require our horse, 4 alpacas and some bantams to be fed twice a day. A bit of garden/plant watering may be required depending on the weather. Accommodation is in a tidy self contained cottage with tv, wifi and a woodburner for heating.
It is approx. a 15min drive to Pukekohe or Waiuku shops etc and under 10mins to Patumahoe village where there is a 4 square supermarket, bar & restaurants, bakery and cafe.

l have had a lovely and very enjoyable house sitting job at Sue and Kees place,they were so lovely to deal with ,they had great, easy instructions to look after there lovely 4 Alpacas,who soon got use to me, there horse was so sweet & quiet & the 3 bantens were cute, the animals were all well behaved and fun to be with, they were great company for me...😊😃 , loved it so much, l'm hopeing to house sit for them all again, if or when they need me. Sue and Kees are some of the friendliest people you’ll meet. They offered us to stay in their cottage a few days before they went away so we could learn the ropes with feeding the animals and picked us up from the nearby town as we had no car. The animals are lovely characters and it was always exciting to feed them. The cottage is very comfortable and was ideal for us two. We would love the opportunity to come house sit again for Kees and Sue in the future.

HOLA! It was a really good experience be with Sue & Kees they are such a great couple we spend good time with them talking and having a cup of tea! Their treat is very personal we learned a lot about how feed the alpacas, chickens and beauty sweet pea (horse). They become good friends to us. It would be always a pleasure come back again 🤠

We really enjoyed our house sit for Sue and Kees. They were really kind and worked with us patiently until we had learned how to care for their various animals. This wasn't difficult but it was great to have their guidance. We enjoyed learning to look after the Alpacas who are very sweet. The chickens and Sweetpea the horse were also easy to look after. Sue and Kees are a lovely couple and I'm glad I could help in giving them some time away from their babies. They supplied me with a lovely little paradise cottage. instructions for the property and animals were very clear. I have learnt a lot about alpaca attitudes. by the end of the week a felt like we all had an understanding and a great routine. i would highly recommend this house sit opportunity and look forward to sitting again for them.
