House Sitter Wanted for Two Cuddly Cats in Auckland

Hi there! We're looking for a responsible and caring house sitter to look after our two lovable (and very entertaining) cats while we’re away. They're low-maintenance and love cuddles—so if you're a cat lover, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

ABOUT THE CATS
We’ve got:
- 1 female ("Gatita") who’s independent and spends most of her time outside. She tolerates the male but isn’t exactly his biggest fan!
- 1 male ("Messy") who’s super sweet, playful, and always trying to win her attention. He only goes into the garden under supervision, as he’s not as good a fighter as she is 😛

Both cats need to be fed dry and wet food. She can self-regulate, but we’re trying to help Messy lose weight. He’ll absolutely beg for food with his charm, but don’t let his sweetness fool you! His health comes first.

Your other “cat chores” include keeping his food bowls and litter box clean (she handles her business outdoors).

We’d also love it if you could send us updates and photos of our fur babies while we’re away. It makes our day to see them happy and well cared for!

ABOUT OUR HOME
We live in a cozy house in St Johns, just a few minutes away from St Heliers and the Point England reserve. This area is fantastic—it’s close to stunning beaches, lovely walking trails, cute cafes, and shops. It’s also quiet and peaceful, so you’ll have plenty of time to relax.

Our home features:
- 1 bedroom
- 1 home office
- Living/dining room, bathroom, and kitchen
- Carport
- Great internet connection—we both work from home, so it’s super reliable. If you work remotely too, you’re welcome to connect to our external monitor for extra convenience!

We try to keep our place clean and tidy, and while there’s not much storage space, it’s perfectly suited for a short stay.

ABOUT YOU
We’d prefer a single female sitter, as our cats are generally more comfortable with women. Someone with reviews on the website is essential—we really value experience and reliability.

We’d also love to meet you via Zoom before confirming, just to get a feel for whether we’re the right fit for each other.

DATES
We’re mainly looking for someone between December 23 and January 6, but we’re flexible with dates if you need a bit of wiggle room.
