New Plymouth Central

We are a couple in our sixties. We live in the beautiful city of New Plymouth, in the West Coast region of Taranaki, in the North Island of New Zealand, in the South Pacific.
Our house has a tranquil setting with an outlook onto native bush. We gain much pleasure from watching the many native birds that visit our garden daily.
Our house is a two storey and spacious, it has 3+ bedrooms. It is light, warm and dry.
We love growing our own food and and live on a 1/3 acre section.
We are situated approx 3 km from the CBD of New Plymouth. A city with its own unique features. We have been blessed with the most amazing parks and gardens.
We are within a stones throw of the ocean. Our city boasts a 14 km coastal walkway running alongside the Tasman Sea which is absolutely stunning on a sunny day.
Mount Taranaki ( A look alike of Mt Fujiyama) is 20mins drive. there are numerous walks to be enjoyed on its lower bush clad slopes and for those who are more adventurous there is the possibility of summiting the mountain in the summer months. In the winter you can enjoy skiing or snow boarding.
The Taranaki region is a mecca for surfers. It also has a most interesting history which can be discovered at Taranakis 'Tahiti' Museum renowned throughout New Zealand.

Some of our most treasured possessions are out two cats, 'Bella' ( black/short haired) and 'Pearl '( a most affectionate rag doll )
We are looking for someone(s) who will look after our house while we are away and love and care for our cats as much as we do ( if that is possible:))
We are heading away for a holiday to Australia from January 18th 2025 to January 29th 2025.
We would be asking you to feed out cats regularly and give them lots of cuddles and hugs, especially 'Pearl". To collect the mail and to water our three pot plants.
