We need a house sitter

Northland - Kaipara

Sue

We are looking for a motorhome owner/s to park free at our home and to feed our cat and water our small veggie garden, clear the mail etc. You are free to use the bathroom/kitchen/lounge/deck space/bbq etc but not the bedrooms so you would therefore sleep in your own motorhome..
We have wonderful river and rural views. You may get to experience one of the amazing sunrises over the river. Or even a great sunset if you drive out to Baylys Beach - approx 12 ks. from our house.
Enjoy the Kauri Coast region of Northland. 2 1/2 hours north of Auckland and same driving time from the Bay of Islands. Explore the ancient kauri forests including Tane Mahuta, Kai iwi Lakes and Baylys Beach. Dargaville has all the usual amenities including a movie theatre.
.
plenty of room to park your motorhome on our section
Dates negotiable at this stage - you are welcome to arrive earlier than we need you and stay longer after we get home - happy to work with you on dates.
Must be here 28 May to 6 June as minimum. .

Wonderful river and rural views from our deck. Walking distance to township, Dargaville Museum..
We look forward to hearing from you.

Great place overlooking the river with an enormous amazing kauri table as the centrepiece. Bobbie the cat is very sweet, independent yet friendly and super easy to care for. The vege garden was loaded and enjoyed , and Sue’s communication spot on. I’d happily go back.

GILLIAN (Apr 2024 - 1 week 3 nights)
No rating Sue and Rick were a nice, friendly couple and were very welcoming. We loved looking after KT their cat, she was a pleasure to be with. The house is in a good location and we enjoyed having lovely views over the river. Thanks for having us to house-sit!
