Hi, our home is on a few acres aprox 1/2 hour out of Whangarei City, on the east coast. We are currently in the process of building a new house, so are living in a shed, right on site. The shed itself, is warm and comfortable and if it was better situated (cause there is a fabulous outlook from the house site), we would live in the shed the rest of our lives. The shed had been set up for family/ friends to stay in while visiting.
We have 2 dogs, one Australian terrier and the other a semi retired Beardie. We're also have a herd of Angus breeding cows, which depending on your experience as to if we'd ask you to move them for us.
No garden care required - as it's a building site.
Close to nice beaches and walking tracks.
I thoroughly enjoyed house sitting for Monica & Trevor at their beautiful place. They were very accommodating and took time to run through everything that I would need to do while they were away. I loved helping out with the cows and their dogs Nigel and Jimmy are very friendly and easy to look after.
Would definitely house sit here again and recommend to others! Thanks guys :)
Fantastic, quiet, rural location with beautiful views of a bay and hills. Chickens and calves to care for but the highlight was the time spent with the two dogs Jimmy and Nigel. Very easy care and wonderful company! I would highly recommend this housesit.
Care for someone else's pets, go for walks in a brand new place... Surprise yourself and expand your horizons.
