We live in a 3-bedroom house based in Tawa. We are looking for a house sitter to look after our 14-month-old Border Collie Kobi whilst we go on a four-week long-anticipated holiday to Japan/Korea.
Ideally, we are looking for someone who has had experience with Border Collies. He has a great nature, quiet and calm for a pup; however, he is still in training, so some management is needed.
He has pack walks booked twice a week, and we have family and friends who usually take him for the day when I go into the office a couple of times a week. We will still do this to keep up his routine, and they can have him for some additional time if needed. He's not on his own for long periods, so we would prefer to have people that can be around. He's pretty independent and doesn't suffer from separation anxiety, but it would be a change we would want to avoid while we are away. I have an office set up for anyone who works from home.
On a typical given day, he will need at least two walks for up to 45 minutes at a time; as said above, we have family and friends who can help.
For anyone interested, we would like you to meet Kobi a couple of times before we leave so he can get familiar with you.
The house is low-key and being redecorated. However, it is still up to a very live able standard. Our lawns in the garden grow fast, so perhaps a mow halfway through the stay would be great.
Everything will be provided except for food.
Cheers
Hannah & Ree
