Petone Lower Hutt

Hi, we will be leaving for around 5 days from Wednesday to Sunday (April), and need someone to look after our cavoodle. We would prefer if the housesitters could come a day before or are already in the Wellington region to meet Neelo beforehand.

About Neelo: Neelo is a three-year-old cavoodle. He is very smart, chill, and can be naughty sometimes. He loves cuddles and spending time with his humans. We have a detailed guide on everything you need to know about Neelo, along with a very comprehensive guide on walks around Petone.

We need someone who can take him for 2-3 walks. He is good on walks but does need attention with two things: 1) he can be afraid of big dogs 2) Rarely, but it does happen, he gets leash aggression; we will share with the sitter a list of things that have triggered him. He is all good; just stating here to avoid any surprises.

About the house: we have a three-bedroom villa in Petone with fruit trees all around and a nice back lawn. There are 1.5 toilets and a very well-stocked kitchen. We also have a sunroom and office, which is great for working from home or reading a book. Our house is a 15-minute walk from many old forests, a 15-minute walk from the Hutt River, and 10 minutes from the beach.
