We need a house sitter

Wellington - South Wairarapa

We are looking for someone to look after our rural property for 4 weeks. We have two dogs - an 11 year old Kerry Blue terrier and a 5 year old PBGV both very friendly and love walks! We also have 2 donkeys, 5 sheep (and varying numbers of lambs) and 4 chickens - they have free range of the paddock but we also feed them all hay, nuts and pellets respectively particularly on colder mornings.
The house is a four bedroom villa with a separate cottage with another bedroom and living room. Two heat pumps in the house and plenty of firewood for the wood burner.
We are situated between Greytown and Carterton and it is about a 6 minute drive to either town - lots of cafes in both and fantastic shops in Greytown, 20 minutes to Martinborough or Masterton and about 1 1/4 hours to Wellington. Because of our rural setting, a car would be essential.

What a lovely home, property and pets to house sit. Fiona and Paul entrusted us with their beloved two dogs Lou and Nico who were so easy to look after and both had wonderful personalities! The donkeys were cute and the lambs delighted us with their antics. The chooks were super great and provided us with more than enough eggs! The bonus house sitting here during July was Greytowns winter festival - what a treat. Great space and a wonderful 'retreat' away from the hustle and bustle.
