We need a house sitter

Northland - Far North

We would like someone who ideally will be home a fair bit and will look after our house and dog, and someone who loves animals . Non smoker preferred. Our dog, Chester is 8 years old but still thinks he's a puppy! He is very exuberant when he first meets people but calms quickly. He loves his daily walks & swims.
We live in Kawakawa , about 10-15 minutes drive from Paihia and Opua.
The Twin Coast cycle trail is a 5 minute walk from the house & great for walking Chester without having to drive anywhere.
Our house is small but has everything you need and is about 2 minutes from the Kawakawa town centre.

We had an amazing time looking after Chester and Dusty for the family. Chester loved his daily walks, chasing sticks into the sea and chasing balls in the garden. Dusty was fun and kept an eye on us from his cage, whistling and chattering! We felt very at home at Pip and Karen’s - everything we could have wished for. A perfect location for visiting the local area, we had an awesome time! 😊

Pip was great with communication and instructions for us. We had a wonderful stay with Chester and Dusty, with lots of coastal walks to beaches and along the coastal walkway. They really were very generous with all of the baby gear and car that we were able to borrow, which made our stay so comfortable.

Pip and Karen's property is located in beautiful Opua, very private and yet, near shops and with easy access to stunning Paihia! Pip and Karen have generously welcomed us in their charming home and explained all there was to know - very easy! Their home is clean, cozy, comfy and very low maintenance!!
