We need a house sitter

Northland - Far North

Stacee & Peter

Paihia, Bay of Islands. We are looking for someone to come and love our small 4 year old dog Penny. Penny needs to be walked everyday, and loves cuddles on the couch whilst you're watching a movie or reading a book. Penny loves being taken for the runs on the beach everyday. The house is a small modern 3 bedroom home with all the mod cons, fantastic view, and has all the afternoon/evening sun. 2 minutes into Paihia township. No duties are required for the house, apart from general housework, and the odd sweep outside.
Being able to drive is a necessity due to the long stay, and take Penny for runs at the beach or walks, and also don't mind Penny coming in the car with you to the supermarket etc. You will see in my reviews it was for more than one dog, sadly we only have one small dog now now.

We loved staying at Stacee's and Pete's, they are very lovely people and easy to communicate with. The house is wonderful and has an absolutely amazing view. The 3 dogs, Millie, Abby and Penny are great company and love to play, they need to get a good run everyday, so it's best suited for an active couple. We are dog lovers and we really loved being with the pack :-) Missing them already. We hope to sit again for them!

Very nice house and very nice dogs! Just a little notice you will some days have 3 dogs to watch, because there sons huskey likes to come over, haha. She is lovely tho!🥰

Stacee and Peter are kind and lovely people! Their house is very nice and has a great view! To get the best out of the beautiful area and take the dogs for good walks you definetly need a car and Stacee let us very kindly use hers. The dogs love being in the car and get very excited while going to their favorite spots. Overall they are extremely friendly and warmed up to us so quickly. I am very grateful for Stacee's friendliness and hospitality. We'd started communicating weeks before she required someone, and after weeks of incessant rain, I was glad to arrive at her lovely low-maintenance home over-looking Haruru Falls. Her dogs are a loveable pair of rogues, and my dog got on with them swimmingly. STEVE (Jul 2022 - 3 weeks)
We have spent 6 weeks amazing at Stacee & Peter's house. The dogs are very cute and likeable, one is quite old and very cuddly and the other one is young and super funny. The house is just perfect with a stunning view, and Peter and Stacee are remarquable owners. There is heaps of things to do around their place, a lot of walks, beaches, waterfall, we have never get bored. If I have a place to recommend to house sit, it would be definitely there :)
 
HARRY (Apr 2019 - 6 weeks)
We spent six lovely weeks with the always-affectionate Abby and the always-bouncy Millie. Stacee & Peter provided everything we needed to properly care for their home and the dogs. The house was comfortable, and the view of Haruru Falls was amazing! Stacee generously took us on a tour of the area before she left, and it really helped in getting oriented with the area and the dogs' play spots. We already miss Abby and Millie!
