Denise was so warm and welcoming from the first time we talked. I arrived the evening before, joined her family for dinner and got to know the pets. Layla and Filo are older pussycats, and Filo needs some medication in the evening and some thyroid meds rubbed onto an ear. Layla was very sweet and affectionate which I enjoyed. I fed the cats, bunnies and dog Zeus morning and evening, and took Zeus for a pleasant walk on the property each morning. I went for swims at Lake Pukatarini or in the home pool, and went to Hamilton Gardens. In the evening, I took Zeus for a short walk, and supervised the bunnies Marley and Snowbelle having their outside runs. I’d recommend Denise and Ian’s pleasant place to anyone who likes country living with pets, as I really enjoyed these four days.

We had a great time over the weekend with all the animals. Zeus is hilarious and always down for a belly rub or a game of tug-o-war. The cats are absolute angels and love a cuddle. Denise was on it with any questions we had over the weekend and making sure we were all ok. Would definitely help out again in the future :)

I had a wonderful time house sitting & looking after Zeus with his boundless enthusiasm, the elegant Layla and Felo & the bunnies. The home was lovely and having the peace and tranquility of the countryside while being so close to the city was an added bonus. Communication with Denise was excellent. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. Would happily look after your fur family again.

We have really enjoyed our stay in Hamilton & the pets were all lovely :) Zeus, Layla and Felo were great company, and Snowbelle/Cashy were adorable ♡ They seemed to be more relaxed around us from the second day. We are going to miss them. Thank you for having us as your house sitter!
