Hi we are on a lifestyle block 8 Acre not to far from town with 2 cows some sheep (12) and chickens (10) ,Jazz (9yrs) and Zoey (2yr) are miniature Schnauzer inside dogs..
sheep will look after themselves maybe shift to the next paddock, Chickens need eggs collecting and maybe food topping up feeding scraps if any, Cows will need fence moving and feeding, and Jazz and Zoey feeding and tending to there needs and pat's let out and pickup after them.
Absolutely loved staying here, Jazz and Zoey were delightful, so cuddly and real characters. Loved collecting eggs every morning. Your house is a lovely home and we were very comfortable there.

I enjoyed my time house sitting for Mike and Jacinta. They are both very chilled and easy to get along with. The cows were very sweet and I enjoyed moving their electric fence everyday and watching their eagerness to get new grass! The chooks are beautiful free range and their eggs delicious! The 2 dogs; Jazz and Zoey loved their walks and are super affectionate. Easy to do day trips to Rotorua and Lake Taupo 👍🏼😊

Thanks to Mike and Jacinta.... jazz was such a cutie pie and we enjoyed feeding the cows. Chooks also very easy to care for and fun collecting fresh eggs.
The home was stunning and very warm and comfortable we even had some venison for supper. Thanks for your amazing hospitality and would help again if need be....
Jazz is such a clever girl and we loved a few walks nearby.

Jazz (their gorgeous mini Schnauzer) is very friendly and quite a character - we fell in love with her and her loving ways! Let's not forget their chooks, with their plentiful and delicious eggs, their cheeky cows and easygoing sheep!!

Our housesit at Mike and Jacinta`s place in Tokoroa was just fabulous. The house is modern and cosy and as it is also a Bed and Breakfast (not during housesits, then the BnB stays closed) you feel like you have a small hotel all for yourself. It is perfectly located to do loads of trips around the North Island. Among many others we did tours up to the Coromandel Peninsula to the north and down to Tongariro NP to the south. We loved house sitting Mike and Jacinta's fabulous home - felt like we were at a hotel but also had a lovely home-like feeling.
Mike and Jacinta were very welcoming and warm, gave us lots of useful information about the area and showed us what to do with the cows, sheep and chickens.
We can't forget about Jazz - an adorable schnauzer who loves to play and get cuddles!
