Kia Ora! We are looking for a house sitter for the above dates. Really nice wee house, clean, in excellent condition, warm and very well looked after. Large veranda to sit out on. Very large tv, (very large bought accidentally lol), unlimited lightening quick broadband etc etc.
We are ideally looking for someone mature and very responsible, with a steady personality who would like a week to hang out, watch movies, cook a bit, sit in the yard and just chill. No parties or extra guests please. I garden in pots so there will be watering of my pots but that is it.
Miriam and Vince were an absolute dream to house sit for. Miriam was super warm & really made us laugh which made us feel at home. They communicated everything clearly and we had the loveliest week - a real lovely home in Levin with a very special garden. Lots of nearby nice coffee shops, beaches + mountain range overlooking the city.

Thank you for the great opportunity! The house was clean and cosy; it was easy to water the plants and pluck ripe tomatoes from the vine. Close to groceries (walkable in 25 mins), hiking trails, and the ocean. Nice and secure, quiet neighbourhood.
Mim's communication throughout was great and their home was super secure, cosy and relaxing and I felt very comfortable there - I especially loved reading in the hammock!! A huge thank you to Mim and Vince for being so welcoming, trusting and generous to this Aussie housesitting for the first time in Aotearoa.
Care for someone else's pets, go for walks in a brand new place... Surprise yourself and expand your horizons.
