We need a house sitter

Wellington - Porirua

We live 5 minutes' walk from the lovely Karehana Bay beach in Plimmerton and have one dog. Plimmerton is a seaside village 25 minutes north of Wellington CBD and can be reached by car or train. Plimmerton village and railway station are a 5-minute drive or a 2o-minute walk from our house, along our flat street and then along the waterfront. There are also lots of electric scooters for hire if you prefer to scooter.
We need a pet lover(s) to look after our gorgeous 2 year old dog, including walking her on the lead for about 45 minutes to an hour a day. We would prefer to have house sitters who can generally be home-based (eg mostly work from home) or are happy to take the dog with them when possible, but we also have a fully fenced back yard to leave the dog when you go out on a warm sunny day.
We have a home office with good light, a large desk and a comfortable chair. There is also a docking station and second screen for Microsoft laptops.

Overall I had a relaxing stay at Miriam and Chris' home, while taking care of their dog Aubrey. The daily seaside walks with Aubrey was just so wonderful - I thoroughly enjoyed them as much as Aubrey. There were a few settling in challenges, however Miriam gratefully received my feedback, and rectified the issues with absolute grace. We really loved staying with Aubrey and cosy home she lives in. Hosts were very kind and welcoming. The home was close to all ammenties including easy access to walks for Aubrey. Staying with Aubrey was a delight, she demanded pets and cuddles all the time, but she has her character. She was still being trained when we petsit her but she behaved really good, responded excellent to commands she knew. She was a puppy by that time so an occasional sock-steal happened but just as a starter to play outside. She will not move during walk if her pack slipts, so don't XD.
