Methven

We need a dog sitter to look after our older Australian Cattle dog. He is a big softie and after a bit of barking easily makes friends. He has 1-2 short walks per day and spends the rest of the time mooching. He has an outside kennel that he is used to being in all day if necessary, but he likes being close to whoever is home so also has an inside kennel.
Our home is beautifully renovated and very comfortable. It has a large modern kitchen and living area that gets all day sun opening out to the big back 1/4 acre section. It is a lovely house to work from or just hang out in as is the back yard.
Our village of Methven is delightful. We are a comfortable 7-10 mins walk from cafes and our 2 mini supermarkets. Ashburton is an easy 25 minute drive. There is lots to do in the local area - famous hotpools, golf, many beautiful walks and Chch is only an hour away.
It would also be great if watering could be monitored, but we have a watering system and the lawns are mowed by a contractor - so it's minimal gardening.
